Amber Pendants

This Specimen is a 14 million year old amber piece with insect inclusions from the Dominican Republic.

Amber is a semiprecious gem that is formed over eons by natural forces out of the resin of trees. Human fascination with amber dates back to prehistoric times when it was considered to have magical powers and was used for adornment and trade. All of the amber in our jewelry is 50 million year old Baltic amber which occurs naturally in Poland, Russia, Germany, Lithuania, and surrounding countries. Our amber jewelry is stylishly set in sterling silver.

Baltic Amber Pendants With Insect Inclusion
The measurements of these pendants do not include the length of the bail. The bail measures approximately 1/2" in length and can accommodate an omega, a slide, a chain, or a string of beads up to 5 mm in diameter.
