Stingray body is approx 7" at widest point and 8" at tallest point.  Fossil fish is approx 3.5" long.  Excellent detail throughout the entire fossil.  Check out the stingray's barb!

 10"  wide  x  8 1/4" high and is approximately 3/8" thick. 

Priscacara  is  approximately 5" at longest point and 2 3/4" at tallest point.

Genus Priscacara is perhaps the most popular of the Green River fish fossils. The name Priscacara means "primitive head". Shaped  like a sunfish, the genus sports sturdy, protective dorsal and anal spines.  This specimen displays the excellent preservation for which the Green River formation is known.

  Fish measures:

8  3/4" at longest point and 2  1/2" at tallest point.

Mioplosus is believed to have been a voracious predator among the Green River fish.

18  7/8" w x 11  3/8" h and is approximately 1  1/2" thick

Fish measures:

13  1/2" at the longest point and 6" at the tallest point.

 The largest of the common fishes from the Green River Formation  is Phareodus. The teeth testify to the fish's likely carnivorous behavior.  In fact, the name means "to have tooth".

Fish measure:

Priscacara  is 8 7/8" long and 5" tall.

Diplomystus tail section is 3 1/8" long and 2" wide.

This specimen shows 3 other unidentified fish fragments; a small fish head just above the Diplomystus tail fragment, another tail fragment just at the tail of the Diplomystus tail fragment, and a fragment at the very bottom middle that includes some scales.
