Tooth measures 13/16″ in length and has a slight curvature
Membrane case included
Pterosaurs are the earliest vertebrates known to have evolved powered flight. Their wings were formed by a membrane of skin, muscle, and other tissues stretching from the ankles to a dramatically lengthened fourth finger. Pterosaurs in general had long skulls, but not all pterosaurs had teeth. The Coloborhynchus genus was a toothed pterosaur. It grabbed its prey, which consisted of fish and other invertebrates, with its front teeth and then swallowed the prey whole.
